Serre Chevalier is a real class act and a highly recommended resort for all ski standards. The area is a collection of villages including including Chantemerle, Villeneuve, Monetier-les-Bains and the ancient town of Briançon which are all linked by bus. The main skiing is in the large bowls accessed by the cable car and gondolas from Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Briançon. The après ski is also noteworthy.

Après ski
• Chantemerle is the liveliest part of town, Le Yeti and the Underground go on into the night. In Villeneuve the pace is slower but Bam Bam and Le Frog are both pretty lively.
